Welcome, Dr. Todd Rickel, High School Physics Faculty Member and Middle School S.T.E.M. Coordinator
Our Lady of the Elms is pleased to announce that Dr. Todd Rickel has been selected as a new Upper School Faculty member. He will teach High School Physics as well as Middle School S.T.E.M. and Mythology classes. Dr. Rickel holds a Ph. D. in Philosophy in Cultural Foundations of Education, a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Kent State University.
Dr. Rickel brings more than 20 years of experience in teaching and leadership to the Elms. His career spans from higher education to K-12 classrooms. His work experience includes the University of Akron as the Vice Provost and Executive Dean for the College of Applied Science and Technology. Before that, he was the Online Regional Vice President at Anthem Education Group. Dr. Rickel most recently comes from St. Joseph Parish School where he taught as a Middle School Teacher.
