Our Lady of the Elms School Foundation

Our Lady of the Elms School, an Ohio non-profit corporation, was proposed, organized, and, for many years, led and operated by the (Akron) Sisters of St. Dominic of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (as of 2009, the Dominican Sisters of Peace).  The Dominican Sisters have made invaluable contributions to the existence and to the continued success of Our Lady of the Elms School.  As such, we remain forever grateful and committed to the Sisters' mission, vision, and values and deeply rooted in the four Dominican Pillars of community, ministry, study, and prayer.

In furtherance of that mission, the School established the Our Lady of the Elms School Foundation in 2023, in tandem with its Centennial Celebration.  Our Lady of the Elms School Foundation is operated exclusively to support the Elms in its mission of Dominican Catholic education of women in Northeast Ohio.
