Join us in welcoming Mrs. Jodi Leiter to Fifth Grade!

Joining the Lower School Team in 2021-22 is Mrs. Jodi Leiter. With nearly ten years of experience working with students in Grades 1 through 8, Mrs. Leiter is excited about the chance to teach at the Elms.

She began her teaching career in Field Local Schools and Akron Public, working as a teacher's aide and tutor, before spending the past six years in the role of lead teacher for Grades 5 and 6 at St. Mary's School in Akron. Mrs. Leiter loves fostering student curiosity and interest in learning, particularly through hands-on activities. She is a strong proponent for individualized education and enjoys the challenge of creating and adapting lesson plans to meet each student's academic needs in both individual and group work. Her favorite subject is Science!

Mrs. Leiter has a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Ashland University. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Leiter to the Elms!
