Introducing Hannah Stump: Our new 3rd Grade Teacher at the Lower School

Our Lady of the Elms School is excited to welcome Hannah Stump to our Lower School faculty as the new 3rd-grade teacher. Hannah's experience includes serving as a long-term substitute teacher for first grade, kindergarten, and third grade in the Copley Fairlawn City Schools. Her hands-on experience in these roles has equipped her with the skills to foster a love of learning and academic excellence among young students.

Mrs. Stump shares, “I strive to create a classroom environment that promotes and fosters the love of learning for each student. To extend students’ individual passions for learning, I utilize a variety of learning styles throughout each subject area, helping to engage students and create fun within our learning. I am excited to join the Elms community as a third grade teacher!”

In addition to her teaching experience, Hannah has worked as a teacher’s assistant at St. Paul’s Nursery School and held leadership positions at the University of Akron. Her involvement in these roles has further developed her skills in student mentorship, educational program development, and collaborative teamwork.

Hannah is also proficient in using Google Educator tools and holds certifications in First Aid, CPR/AED and Mental Health First Aid, ensuring she is well-prepared to support the holistic needs of her students.

We are thrilled to have Hannah Stump join our team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on our 3rd-grade students. Please join us in welcoming Hannah to Our Lady of the Elms School!
