New Principal Announced for Our Lady of the Elms Lower School

Akron, Ohio - December 20, 2019 - Our Lady of the Elms President, Deborah Farquhar Jones, announced changes to the School's academic leadership team effective January 1, 2020.  "With growing enrollment and new initiatives in both the Lower and Upper Schools, we have asked Kevin Kelly to step into a leadership role in the Lower School.  Mr. Kelly will continue to teach our highest-level math classes in the High School, in addition to assuming principal responsibilities for the Pre-School and Primary grades."

Before joining the Elms team in 2018, Kelly taught math at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.  He also served in school principal roles in Canton and Cleveland, after working in the Medina City School District for 14 years.

"I am honored to be asked to step into this role at the Elms.  My commitment to Catholic education has led me to this point in my career.  The Elms offers an outstanding opportunity locally for an all-girls, Catholic education," said Kelly.
