Asbestos Management Plan

Subject: Asbestos Inspection/Management Plan

Federal law requires all schools to inspect their buildings for asbestos-containing materials and to have a management plan in place for those materials found. In addition, we are also required to notify you in writing (once a year) the Our Lady of the Elms has such a plan in place.
Please note that if asbestos abatement is ever required, only EPA accredited asbestos contractors will be used and visual clearance and air monitoring will be performed by a third party for every such project.

The following is a list of all asbestos-related work activities undertaken in our school buildings during this past school year, performed by a licensed abatement contractor:

1)      No work was performed within this period.

Please be assured that we are making every effort to comply with the laws and regulations pertaining to asbestos and have the safety of our children is our main priority.
