Reunion Event

Friday, October 13, 2023, 6:00 p.m.

The Class of 1973 is invited to join the Centennial Cocktail Reception in the commons beginning at 4:30 p.m. Reconnect with a whole host of Elms friends, including students from other classes, past and current teachers, Dominican Sisters and others. There will be entertainment and a photo booth--and don’t miss the 100-year video timeline of the history of Our Lady of the Elms School.

Our event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the High School in the gathering area now called the Upper School Mall, right outside the art room. There will be plenty of time to reminisce and catch up, as well as enjoy a Class of 1973 signature cocktail and other refreshments and food. More details to come!

Patio Improvements

Remember the area outside the commons, known to us as the smoking lounge/patio?! It’s now an equally popular (albeit no smoking) student gathering place that includes patio furniture and two garden beds home to flowering trees probably planted when we were students. It’s time for new trees, new plantings and an overall sprucing up.

We believe a Class of 1973 effort to secure $5,000 would fund the needed improvements. Will you consider a gift this spring to the effort? The successful generous spirit of the Class of 1973 could get the project moving and completed in time for our reunion and the Centennial Celebration. AND…we could dedicate the space October 13 and see our class contribution recognized with a special plaque.
