Elms Summer Camp

 


AGES: This camp is for boys and girls, going into 1st grade thru age 12.

TIME: The camp hours will run from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. with before care beginning at 7:30 a.m. and aftercare running until 6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

PLACE: The camp will be at Our Lady of the Elms Elementary School.

COST: Five day camp: $225 per week, Three day camp: $165 per week

Sibling Discount: There will be a 10% discount for every sibling enrolled in the camp after the first camper enrolled.

٠Each camper will be given a t-shirt and water bottle.
٠Please make sure that campers come to camp
each day with lunches and other necessary items for the day.
٠Snack will be provided daily.
٠Cost of field trips is included in the camp price.

Campers will discover the artist hidden within themselves as they spend this first week of camp creating pottery, drawing and painting. They will also take a trip to the Akron Art Museum.

Discover the world of animals through the legends of the Native Americans. Campers will explore stories told about the different animals by various tribes, how we an best care for the planet, and take a field trip to the Akron Zoo.

Campers will make costumes, and learn a dance and songs to perform at a production at the end of this week of camp. A week you don’t want to miss!

This will be a week of scientific discoveries in the area of chemistry. Campers will do experiments to find the reason things bubble and fizz, make goo, do some cooking, and go on a field trip to the McKinley Museum in Canton.
